My name is Keith Furuya. I am the Founder & President of Furuya & Co. (www.furuyaco.com), an investment advisory firm helping business owners invest so they can maintain their lifestyle in retirement. This is my blog on investing, corporate finance and asset valuation.I am a graduate from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. I later received a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Prior to my entry into the investment world, I was a principal at The Links Group, a management consultant firm advising business owners and entrepreneurs on corporate finance, business strategy and technology.Working in Silicon Valley, I consulted area start-ups with product strategy, development and marketing expertise. I also developed product and marketing strategies to launch Wi-Fi and mobile products for Xircom and Fujitsu. For five years, I worked as a design engineer for Watkins-Johnson Company, developing front-end and data link wireless receivers.
